Juggling Halloween all-weekend-long festivities, mom visits, food poisoning, and more and more work has been slightly grueling the past two weeks. We took a trip to Mt. Hood. We hiked, played in waterfalls, watched The Shining in Timberline Lodge, swam under the stars, and remembered just how beautiful the Pacific Northwest is. It’s been 5 1/2 years since I moved from the midwest to the west, and it never ceases to take my breath away.
